Cottage on the Hill is a beautiful self-catering Guest House situated on the ridge in St Francis Bay, along the well known Garden Route of South Africa.

The property offers magnificent views of the Bay, surrounding mountains and village.

It is within easy reach of the main swimming beach, golf,course and local amenities making it suitable for business travellers, holiday makers and overnight guests.

Accommodation is provided in 4 stand- alone units comprising the main guest house where breakfasts are served in The Bay Breakfast Room.

The standalone units comprise The luxury Mongoose Suite, The Francolin Suite, The Guinea-fowl Cottage and The Owl House and flatlet. All have private entrances, and garden areas and are fully equipped for self-catering. Our units are ideal for long stays and we are pet friendly by arrangement with management.

A beautiful swimming pool is situated in the indigenous garden with recliners and guests can enjoy the incredible bird life. We have a  resident Giant Spotted Eagle Owl called “ Hooty” and he can be heard during the early hours or late at night. Mongoose and tortoise may be seen from time to time as they waunder through the 2000sq meter property.

The units are serviced and a laundry is available.
